:Nourishing Community Herb Gardens Project
When we consider global crises it is easy to feel overwhelmed and become disempowered. Creating community gardens that bring back medicinal herbs alongside wild foods of the local habitat is a tangible way to be a part of the solution. As we grow gardens we grow community.
Nourishing herb and food community gardens give back to the people by creating “green spaces” along the concrete jungles where folks can relax, reconnect with the earth, and one another. They're nature’s playground, full of daily lessons and gratifying experiences that are shared within the community. Not only do we receive the benefits from fruits of our labor, we also reduce our impact upon this precious planet. We're standing up and peacefully taking back our human rights to have access to wild foods, botanical medicines, and organically grown fruits and vegetables.
